About the site.
When I made my Pokémon collective I had the intention of only making six Pokémon shrines; basically enough Pokémon to fit on a team in a single game. However, the idea of making a Pidgeot shrine was something that sat at the back of my mind as a site I'd like to do one day. Reason being is Pidgeot is one of my favorite Pokémon, and my favorite Flying-type overall. It is one of those Pokémon I'd definitely have on my dream team. Unfortunately, I never got very far with the shrine and would drop it every time I tried. I even had a fanlisting for Pidgeot at one point, but I ended up closing that. *smacks self* When a Mega Evolution form was announced for Pidgeot in the then upcoming Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire I decided I absolutely needed to make a shrine for this Pokémon––inspiration was found at last! Although work on the shrine began in mid-October, the shrine wasn't finished until December 24, 2014. Better late than never! The fanlisting was opened on September 20, 2015.
Currently we are on version 1 of the site which was made by me using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and then coded by hand using Notepad. The image used in the layout was found at PkmnCards and the sprites used were found at The Pokémon Wiki. Patterns used were found at this site, and textures used were found at the late Aethereality.net and various other sites, all of which are sadly no longer online. Fonts used are called Abadi MT Condensed Extra Bold and Minion which were default with my computer. Credit goes to Bulbapedia, Serebii.net, and The Pokémon Wiki for some information used on this site. Previous layouts used may be found at my layout archive.
